Billed monthly in advance. Outside experts and outside counsel are added to the next month's bill for each month their engagement is open. Seats added mid-month are prorated. No annual contract.

Free for public service
Case Scaffold is free for the lawyers and staff of:
- Public defender offices — government and nonprofit defender organizations
- Legal aid organizations — nonprofit civil legal services programs
- Law students and law school clinics — with a verified .edu address; students are limited to a few matters
Court-appointed panel attorneys pay 25% less: $149 a month for the firm with its first lawyer, $97 for each added lawyer, $44 for each paralegal.
Eligibility is confirmed through your office, organization or school.

Is there a trial?
During the beta, access is free and by invitation. After it, a 14-day trial with every feature.
Is the trial module extra?
No. Trial preparation is part of every lawyer seat.
Do clients pay?
Never. Invite every client to a privileged client space at no cost.
Who pays for an outside expert?
The firm that invites them, for each month their engagement is open, at the lawyer-seat rate.
Can we pay by invoice?
Firms of 11 or more lawyers can be invoiced monthly. Ask us.
